Fourth Week of Advent

WHOLE SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

SPIRIT WEEK: Our Christmas Spirit week will happen from Dec. 20^th to 23^rd. Tuesday is Bundle Up day, Wednesday is Battle of the Grades (Gr. 7 - yellow, Gr. 8 - blue, Gr. 9 - red, Gr. 10 - green, Gr. 11 - white, Gr. 12 - black), Thursday is Ugly Christmas Sweater/Christmas Headgear day and Friday is Comfy/Christmas PJ day. Show your Christmas and Titan spirit! (NR –Dec 23)

7/8 ANNOUNCEMENTS

GRADE 7 AND 8 DANCE: We will be celebrating the Christmas season with a dance Thursday afternoon. Tickets will be sold Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday for a cost of $2. Pay your homeroom teacher. See you there! (JG –Dec 21)

JINGLE BELLS, JINGLE BELLS!! Sign up outside Room 235 to share your Christmas spirit through song! Students must sign up in order to perform at our sing a long on Thursday, December 22! Space is limited! Sign up soon! (TC –Dec 22)

POPCORN AND JUICE: Help support your student council and purchase popcorn and juice for only $1.00 during the Grade 7/8 dance on Thursday, December 22! (TC –Dec 22)

GRADE 7/8 BOYS FUTSAL: Signup sheet is posted outside the Phys Ed offices. Tryouts start on Tuesday, January 10^th, after the Christmas break. All tryout dates are written at the bottom of the signup sheet. Be sure to check it out. (MM –Dec 23)

HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

MATH ENRICHMENT CANCELLED! Math Enrichment for all grades is cancelled today. We will see everyone on the first Wednesday back to school in January. Have a wonderful holiday! (NR –Dec 21)

ATTENTION VIMY RIDGE 2012 TRAVELLERS: You are reminded of your meeting on Thursday at 11:30 in the Career Center. Please remember to bring your passports, and your cheque for your t-shirts. (MM –Dec 22)

GUITAR SHOWCASE: There will be a guitar showcase in the library/ learning commons on Thursday, Dec. 22 during HS lunch. Bring your lunches and enjoy music played by some of M.T's talented musicians. (AC –Dec 22)

SPIRIT RALLY: The high school spirit rally will take place on Wednesday December 21 during last period. We will celebrate the accomplishments of all of our MT high school students, and celebrate the Christmas season. Come and enjoy the entertainment! (NR –Dec 21)

OSCAR NIGHT VOTING: High school students are reminded to get online and vote for the MT Oscars. Voting will be open on vote.mths.ca until 3pm on Friday December 23^rd. Daily draws for a free dance ticket will be made until Tuesday December 20. Vote early to get your name in the draw and help us once again make the MT Oscars the best event in Ottawa! (NR –Dec 23)
