WHOLE SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS 
DECK THE HALLS! One of the best parts of Christmas time is seeing all the fabulous decorations. This Thursday and Friday, homerooms are reminded to "Deck the Halls" and Homeroom Doors with as much Christmas cheer as you can. Hallways will be judged Friday at lunch, and prizes will be awarded to the homeroom areas that decorate the best! (NR –Dec 16)
LAST CHANCE FOR YEARBOOKS! Most of the yearbooks have already been sold but there is still an opportunity to purchase again over the next two weeks. The order forms are in the office in a tray marked Yearbooks. You need to pick up an order form and then return it with cash or cheque for $40. The order forms are available now and the deadline is 16th December 2011. (AP –Dec 16)
SPIRIT WEEK: Our Christmas Spirit week will happen from Dec. 20th to 23rd. Tuesday is Bundle Up day, Wednesday is Battle of the Grades (gr. 7 - yellow, gr. 8 - blue, gr. 9 - red, gr. 10 - green, gr. 11 - white, gr. 12 - black), Thursday is Ugly Christmas Sweater/Christmas Headgear day and Friday is Comfy/Christmas PJ day. Show your Christmas and Titan spirit! (NR –Dec 23)
7/8 ANNOUNCEMENTS 
7/8 GIRLS FUTSAL: The 7/8 girls futsal tryouts will begin this week. The Grade 7’s will have a tryout Thursday, December 15th at 7:30 am in the wood floor gym. The Grade 8’s will have a tryout Tuesday, December 20th at 7:30 am in the wood floor gym. Please be there on time. (CN –Dec 19)
GRADE 7 AND 8 DANCE: We will be celebrating the Christmas season with a dance next Thursday afternoon. Tickets will be sold Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday for a cost is $2. Pay your homeroom teacher. See you there! (JG –Dec 21)
HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENT
ALL CO-OP STUDENTS: Would all co-op students please pick up their Career Fair poster boards from the Coop Office (room 320) before Christmas Break? The boards will be disposed of after the holidays so please pick up your board if you want it back. (MO –Dec 20)
SPIRIT RALLY: The high school spirit rally will take place on Wednesday December 21 during last period. We will celebrate the accomplishments of all of our MT high school students, and celebrate the Christmas season. Come and enjoy the entertainment! (NR –Dec 21)
OSCAR NIGHT VOTING: High school students are reminded to get online and vote for the MT Oscars. Voting will be open on vote.mths.ca until 3pm on Friday December 23rd. Daily draws for a free dance ticket will be made until Tuesday December 20. Vote early to get your name in the draw and help us once again make the MT Oscars the best event in Ottawa! (NR –Dec 23)
GRADE 12’s / GRADS 
GRADUATION INFO: The MT Graduation Ceremony for the class of 2012 will be held at Mother Teresa on Thursday June 28 at 1:00 pm. Each student will be given 2 tickets for guests. Students will be able to request extra tickets starting in May and will be informed whether they will get extra tickets, in early June. (JH –Dec 16)
ATTENTION ALL GRADS! On Tuesday, December 20th, Edge Imaging will be taking Grad Photos for those students who were not able to schedule an appointment during the week of November 21st - November 25th. Please pick up a pamphlet in Student Services for information on poses available, costs, what to wear and proofs. Students must book appointments online at www.bookmygrad.ca. Our school code is MTH. This is the last chance this year for grad photos. Retakes will take place in the New Year. (KW –Dec 20)
