WHOLE SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS
TALENT SHOW AUDITIONS!!! All those who signed up to audition for the talent show are reminded to check their times (on the wall outside of room 301) and be sure to be at least 20 minutes early. Auditions on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday will take place on the stage. Auditions on Thursday will take place immediately after school in the multi-purpose room (131) due to interviews taking place in both gyms. Good luck to everyone auditioning! (NR –Mar 25)

HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS
HIGH SCHOOL BADMINTON TRYOUTS:
- Senior practices will be Wednesday and Thursday morning at 7:30 am.
- Junior practice will be Thursday at 7:30 am.
A list of players for Thursday will be posted outside the wood floor gym on Wednesday afternoon. All players on the posted list must attend on Thursday for final team selections. (JL –Mar 24)
24 HOUR FAST: Application Forms and $ 5 registration fee are DUE on Wednesday March 24th, by end of the day. Please drop off your forms to Mr. Nearing in the Co-op office, Room 111. (DH –Mar 24)
ATTENTION GIRLS RUGBY PLAYERS: Practices are continuing on Tuesday and Friday mornings, starting at 7:15am. Please be prepared to go outside for practice. REMINDER TO CO-OP STUDENTS: Thursday March 25 is an in-school Co-op Integration Day. Co-op students must come to school for their regular co-op class with Mrs. O’Sullivan or Mr. Nearing on that day. Students are asked to meet at the computer lab and to bring their journals (4 entries) with them. Please note that it is a shortened day due to parent-teacher interviews. (MO –Mar 25)
GRADE 9 MATH ENRICHMENT: Reminder to all those interested in writing the second contest, that you must see Mrs. Robinson with money before lunch on Thursday March 25th. (NR –Mar 25)
REACH FOR THE TOP LUNCH TOURNAMENT: There will be a meeting for all Reach for the Top team captains Friday at 11:45 in room 307. A schedule will be distributed and the tournament format will be discussed. (JS –Mar 26)

Attention all high school students in need of community service hours: St. Monica’s parish located off of Fallowfield on Merivale Road is looking for students willing to break up Palms for their Palm Sunday mass. YEARBOOK: Yearbook students who are working on pages for the last deadline must come to a meeting after school in room 103 on Tuesday, March 23, and/or Wednesday, March 24. ALL pages MUST be completely finished by Friday, March 26 so they can be submitted by our last deadline. (AH-Mar 26)
Do You Want $100 from the Government?? If you were 16 or older on December 31, 2009 you may be eligible to receive $100 by filing a tax return. It doesn’t matter whether you had a job or not during 2009. Mr. Baldin and his tax gurus will be able to complete your return in room 216 after school any night. BOOK CLUB ORDERS: Pick up the most recent flyer from the Scholastic Teen Readers Club in the library. Orders are due in the library by Thursday, April 1. The Psychologists of CHEO are holding an Evening of Information at Hillcrest H.S. on Monday March 29 from 7:00pm - 9:15pm. Keynote speaker Dr. Henderson's topic will be "Talking to Children and Youth about Body Image" followed by break out sessions topics including: Understanding Anxiety in Children & Youth, Stress Management in Children & Youth, The Importance of Sleep for Children & Youth, and Autism 101. CANCER SOCIETY – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: The Canadian Cancer Society has its Daffodil Days set from Friday, March 26th to Sunday, March 28th. GRADUATING STUDENTS/COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS: A new policy surrounding Community Service Hours has been adopted at Mother Teresa High School. All graduating students must have completed their forty hours of community service by the date of the school prom if they intend to attend their graduation dance. This comes about as a result of the practice of some students who left their Community Service Hours to the last month of school and were not able to graduate in June. We are encouraging all our graduating students to submit their hours by May 14th, 2010. (NM –Apr 1)
