WHOLE SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS
YOGA: Next Yoga session will run March 2nd to the 29th Tuesdays & Thursdays (no classes during March break). $61.00 for the month or $10.00 to drop in. Registration and payment can be done just before start of class in the studio. (JR –Mar 12)
7/8 ANNOUNCEMENTS
7/8 students participating in the Queen's Trip this year. Please keep the email sent to you confirming the track you have been placed in and bring it with you in May. (NS-Mar 26)
Grade 7 students who have not yet returned their signed contracts for next year are reminded to bring them in to their homeroom teacher right away. This is critical information to make sure that you are properly registered for grade 8. (CB-Mar 12)
7/8 BOYS’ HOCKEY TRYOUTS: The tryout schedule has changed. All players from grade 7 and grade 8 who have signed up for 7/8 boys’ hockey are to show up for TRYOUTS on BOTH Monday March 22 from 3-5 p.m. at Walter Baker Arena, and Tuesday March 23 from 3-5 p.m. at Walter Baker Arena. (TQ-Mar 12)
Drama Expressions: Any student who has been invited to the Expressions Drama workshop April 13th, is asked to please return their permission form and money to Ms. Stuart before March Break. If any other students are interested in taking part in this full-day drama workshop please see Ms. Stuart in room 240 for more information. (CS-Mar 12)

Attention all high school students in need of community service hours: St. Monica’s parish located off of Fallowfield on Merivale Road is looking for students willing to break up Palms for their Palm Sunday mass. The Psychologists of CHEO are holding an Evening of Information at Hillcrest H.S. on Monday March 29 from 7:00pm - 9:15pm. Keynote speaker Dr. Henderson's topic will be "Talking to Children and Youth about Body Image" followed by break out sessions topics including: Understanding Anxiety in Children & Youth, Stress Management in Children & Youth, The Importance of Sleep for Children & Youth, Autism 101. This is a chance for future students and their parents to get to know our campus and learn more about important aspects of academic life. VOLUNTEER AT QUEENSWAY CARLETON HOSPITAL: Become a volunteer at the Queensway Carleton Hospital during July and August. Requirements for becoming a student volunteer are: must be 15 years of age by December 31, 2010 and have completed grade 9 by this summer. You will need to attend an information session by April 9th. Pick from the following dates: March 3, 15, 18, 23; April 7. Most sessions start at 6 pm. See volunteer binder in Student Services for more information. (KW –Mar 12)
