Day 2 - H.S. & Day 1 - Gr. 7 & 8

CARNIVAL SCHEDULE FOR TODAY: The carnival will run from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm. For Grades 7 & 8 the schedule will remain the same - class times won't be adjusted. Students will attend periods 1, 2, and then check into period 3, and then head to the carnival. They will return to period 5 after it finishes, and move to period 6 at the regular time. For H.S. the adjusted schedule is as follows:

The Ottawa Youth Commission was approached by the National Capital Commission to work together and make Ottawa a better place for youth. They have arranged for a focus group on Wednesday, June 4th and they need you! The focus groups will be after school, from 4:30 - 6:00 pm at the NCC’s downtown Info Centre, 90 Wellington St, right across from Parliament. Pizza and drinks will be served, and volunteer hours can be counted for participants. Please see Mrs. Brady in room 201 this week if you would like to be part of this youth focus group.

Adventures in Engineering and Science is looking for enthusiastic, dynamic and outgoing students with a love for learning, science and engineering. By volunteering for one week, a student can complete all 40 hours required for the OSSD. Volunteers get to experience the University of Ottawa campus, including experiments in the science labs and a weekly swim in the University pool. The camp runs weekly from June 30th to August 22nd. GRADE 9 TO 12 STUDENTS LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEER HOURS: Adventures in Engineering and Science is looking for enthusiastic, dynamic and outgoing students with a love for learning, science and engineering. By volunteering for one week, a student can complete all 40 hours required for the OSSD. Volunteers get to experience the University of Ottawa campus, including experiments in the science labs and a weekly swim in the University pool. The camp runs weekly from June 30th to August 22nd. LOST: A black case was lost recently in the boys’ Phys. Ed. change room. It contained a student’s retainer, needed for orthodontics, as well as a cell phone, a dark blue watch and a wallet containing a driver’s license and school ID. There is a reward available for the return of these items. Information is available in the Student Services office.

SUMMER SCHOOL INFO: Information on summer school course offerings, both reach-ahead and make-up, and registration forms are now available in the Student Services office for both the Catholic and Public school boards.
