Day 2 - H.S. & Day 1 - Gr. 7 & 8
CARNIVAL SCHEDULE FOR TODAY: The carnival will run from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm. For Grades 7 & 8 the schedule will remain the same - class times won't be adjusted. Students will attend periods 1, 2, and then check into period 3, and then head to the carnival. They will return to period 5 after it finishes, and move to period 6 at the regular time. For H.S. the adjusted schedule is as follows:
Homeroom 8:55-9:05
Period 1 9:05-10:00
Period 2 10:05-11:00
Carnival 11:00-1:30
Period 3 1:30-2:15
Period 4 2:20-3:05
THE 7/8 BOYS AND GIRLS TOUCH FOOTBALL TEAM: Departure time for TODAY’S game, at Sacred Heart H.S., is at 1:15 PM in the atrium.
GRADE 8 STUDENTS: This is a reminder to any grade 8 student who owes the balance for the La Ronde trip. The $30 balance is due Monday, June 2nd. You can pay this amount in cash or a cheque. Please drop off this amount to Ms. Godard in room 238 before homeroom on June 2nd.
ATTENTION GRADE 8 STUDENTS: The wait is over! Tickets for the Grade 8 Semi Formal Dinner & Dance are now on sale! Stop by the table in the atrium this week with $10 cash or cheque (made payable to Mother Teresa High School) as well as the bottom portion of your permission form signed by a parent/guardian. Buy your tickets early to avoid the disappointment of a cancelled event. The final day to purchase a ticket is Monday, June 2nd.
FOUR FOR FOUR is happening at Carnival TODAY. Four photographed poses of you and maybe your friends as well and all you need is four tickets. It's just like the photo-booth in the shopping mall and your photos will be ready in 10 minutes. Take home some memories of a great spirit week event. Take home 4 for 4, TODAY at Carnival Day!
MT WRITING ANTHOLOGY: A reminder to those who submitted an entry for the writing anthology that all final drafts are due by next Friday, June 6. Please submit your final drafts either to Ms. Sehl (rm. 134) or Mrs. Earle (rm. 137) by next Friday.
EURO-TRIP EASTER 2009 ROME, including an audience with the Pope, Pompeii and Greece: Students interested in Ancient History, Art, Architecture, Religion or may learn best through experiences should check out the 10 day enrichment trip next Easter. Students should see Mrs. Brady before June 5 for information about how to secure a place on this trip. Mother Teresa has a limited number of spots for our school. The itinerary is posted outside room 201. Don't miss the deadline.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: The 2008 Ontario Summer Games will be held in Ottawa on August 13 -16 and volunteers are needed in many areas such as parking, security, athletes’ village, registration, etc. If you are interested in being a volunteer, visit www.2008osg.ca for more information.

June 3 Period 3 (that's a day 2) Today is the last day to sign to sign up.
ATHLETIC BANQUET: The MT Athletic Awards Banquet will be held on Monday, June 9th @ 6:30 pm in the Caf. Banquet tickets and Athletic T-shirts will be distributed from June 2 to June 6th only. Outstanding Athletic Fees ($30) and uniforms must be given to Mr. Liska or your spring sport coaches ASAP.
