ENRICHMENT GROUP: Enrichment Meeting for 7 & 8's
TODAY during junior lunch in Room 132. Bring your lunch. All 7/8 gifted students are asked to attend.
ATTENTION Gr. 7/8 STUDENTS: All cast members of The One & Only Santa Claus as well as those assigned to props & costumes are reminded to bring in their props & costumes this week. All props/costumes for the play are due by
Thursday, November 15th. Write your name on your items and bring them to rehearsals.
ATTENTION Gr. 7/8 STUDENTS: If you signed up help backstage with the production of The One & Only Santa Claus, you are asked to attend a very brief but important meeting in room 332 at the beginning of lunch on
Wednesday, November 14th.
ATTENTION Gr. 7/8 STUDENTS: The music room will be open
TODAY and Wednesday for practice. There will also be a clarinet clinic for any student. Junior Band students must attend.
There will be a music council meeting on Friday at the beginning of lunch.
RED MAPLE CLUB: Red Maple Club meets on
Wednesday, November 14th during Junior Lunch in the Library Seminar Room. Pick up your Red Maple Pass in the Library before Wednesday. Bring your lunch and student ID.
The books have arrived! New students are most welcome!
NOTICE: A reminder that high school students are not permitted to use the staircase in the new addition to access the first floor rooms in the new addition. The 2nd and 3rd floors in the new addition are off limits to high school students.
AWARDS CEREMONY INFORMATION: Student who received letters of invitation to the H.S. awards ceremony on Monday will be asked to come down to the cafetorium immediately after the announcements
TODAY. Instructions will be given to the participants at that time.
ALGONQUIN COLLEGE INFORMATION NIGHTS: Algonquin College is holding four Information Nights this week at their Woodroffe campus. All sessions are held in Room T102 (Technology building, next to the visitors parking lot) from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This is an excellent opportunity to find out more about specific programs at Algonquin.
Tonight is a presentation by the Faculty of Health, Public Safety and Community Studies,
Tuesday night is the Faculty of Business and Hospitality,
Wednesday night is the Faculty of Arts, Media and Design and
Thursday night is the Faculty of Technology and Trades. Register online at

FLU CLINIC VOLUNTEERS: We are looking for volunteers to work at the flu vaccine clinic on
Wednesday November 21. The clinic runs from 2:30 - 8:30 pm and high school students are needed to volunteer to assist the nurses, greet the public, assist with consent form distribution, etc. If you are able to help out, please sign up in Student Services. This will count for Community Service hours.
GRAD PHOTOS: Your graduation portrait session days take place this week (Tuesday to Friday). Please book your appointment early. Sign up sheets are available in Student Services along with information booklets. Sitting fees are either $25, $30 or $35. If you only require a yearbook pose, please sign up for a yearbook only appointment (no cost); you will not need a ten minute appointment.
INTRAMURALS: Floor Hockey Sign ups this week. Team forms are available at Mr. Prigent's office door. $1 per player. Deadline is this Friday. First 8 teams paid make the cut.
HIGH SCHOOL PLAY AUDITIONS: The auditions for the high school play will take place TODAY, Nov. 12, Tuesday, Nov. 13 and Wednesday Nov. 14 in room 131 (the new wing) from 3:15 till 5:30. Please put your name on the Audition List. Please bring your audition form with you.
