7/8 GIRLS GAELIC FOOTBALL: Team Practice on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week. See Ms. McKenna if you cannot attend.
HIGH SCHOOL DRAMA PRODUCTION: There will be a very important information meeting regarding this year’s high school play on Tuesday (Oct. 2) at 11: 45 on stage. Bring your lunch.
CAPPIE CRITICS: 4 Cappies have not submitted permission forms. You must do so by TODAY or risk losing your opportunity to work as a Cappie reviewer this school year. Please see Mrs. Simpson in Rm. 300.
GIRLS IN GR. 7-10: Girls in grades 7 through 10, and their parents are invited to visit Carleton University and the University of Ottawa to learn about engineering. The date is Saturday, October 13th. They will learn about the 'caring profession', and hear and work with female professionals, academics and students. The girls will join in several fun hands-on activities, while their parents will attend an information session. Register at: www.ospe.on.ca/goenggirl
GIRLS HOCKEY: Meeting TODAY at 12:00 in rm. 107, all players must attend as the schedule will be handed out. Practice TODAY, 3 - 5. Players are dismissed at 2:30.
BOYS HOCKEY: A reminder that this week the Varsity Boys hockey team practices on Tuesday and will be away all day Wednesday for a tournament. Only those who have paid their fees will be eligible to play in the tournament. Deadline for payment is Tuesday at practice. Any questions, please see Mr. Prigent.
REMINDER TO GRADS: There are two Gr. 12 assemblies this week -- one on Tuesday, during period 3 and one on Thursday, during period 3. Both are held in the Library. Topics include grad requirements, post-secondary options, college and university application process and scholarships. Grade 12s have been divided into two groups. Student invitations were distributed in homerooms this morning indicating which session to attend. If you have any concerns, please see your counsellor.
URGENT REQUEST: The Ottawa Carleton Futsal League is looking to interview four (4) students for a position of photo-journalist. Require students who are good writers, who can work independently and have photography skills. Cameras will be provided. You will be taking still pictures and writing stories.
