ATTENTION GRADS - DEADLINE FOR YOUR GRAD WRITE-UP is the end of the first week back in January (January 12th). You can bring it in hard copy to Mrs. Watkinson in Student Services, or follow the directions on the sheet as to how to submit it to the teacher mailbox. You can also e-mail it to Janet_Birmingham@occdsb.on.ca.

Please make sure to follow ALL writing guidelines for your comments, including proper sentences, capitalization, punctuation and only approved abbreviations. Only students who follow these guidelines will have their write-up published in the yearbook. All write-ups must be submitted by the deadline.

Yearbooks: The early bird deadline has come and gone but you can still purchase your yearbook for $42 by dropping off your cheques in Mr. Prigent's Phys. Ed. office every morning before school until Dec 20.

Congratulations: Six Mother Teresa students have been chosen for literary awards by the Royal Canadian Legion for their entries in the Remembrance Day contest. Prizes for their essays will be awarded to Grade 12 students Will Beaton, Nicole Nolan and Heather Bromley. Prizes for poetry will be awarded to Oana Moraru and Grade 11 students Anhalyna Cherwick and Quintina Cuddihy. Congratulations to all these students for their excellent writing!

Varsity Girls Basketball: The Varsity girls BASKETBALL team will be meeting on Thursday morning in room 205 at 8:30 am to return uniforms and settle the rest of the fees for the Brockville tournament -- all players are expected to attend!

Prom Committee Meeting: The Prom Committee Meeting date has been CHANGED. It is TODAY, Wednesday December 6th, at LUNCH in room 202 NOT tomorrow.

Participants in Explore receive a $2,000** bursary covering tuition fees for the course, instructional materials, meals, and accommodation. Explore offers courses adapted to your level (beginner, intermediate, or advanced) as well as many activities allowing you to meet with others from across the country who share your desire to improve their second language.
