Attention Grade 7/8 Runners: If you are interested in joining the Grade 7/8 cross-country running team, then please come to a meeting TODAY in room 314 at lunch. You should be able to run for about 20 minutes without stopping. See you there.
7/8 Boys Volleyball: All members of the 7/8 Boys Volleyball team are reminded of their practices on the following dates: Monday, October 2nd - gym C; Wednesday, October 4th - gym D; Wednesday, October 12th - gym C; Thursday, October 13th - gym D. First regular season home game: Monday, October 16th. Notify Ms. McKenna if unable to attend these dates.
Yearboook: The yearbook is looking for your pictures! We see so many students walking around the halls taking pictures - do you have great photos -why not get them in the yearbook? And it is so easy. Just pop into the yearbook office - room 207 on Tuesdays or Thursdays to download your photos - or put them on a CD and give them to Mrs. Birmingham, Samantha Graitson or Sam Hopkins. Drop by room 207 for more information.
Social Justice Meeting: TODAY, at lunch, in Rm. 107 - Mr. Nearing's room. Why - to plan coffee house. See you there!

Leadership Camp 2006: Attention all students who attended this years leadership camp. Please come by the chapel TODAY if you have left your belongings from camp behind. Thank you!
Grads: Carleton University Day will take place on Friday, October 6 at Carleton University campus. Activities are planned from 9:00 - 3:00 p.m. Talk with professors, staff and students about various programs. Join in workshops on financial assistance, take a campus tour, learn about co-op opportunities. Prizes available, including free tuition for your first year. Part-Time Job Available: Veterinary Assistant/Kennel Attendant needed 1-2 evenings per week, and approximately 1 weekend a month (Sat. and Sun.). Must be 16 yrs old. Training provided. Vimy Ridge 90th Anniversary Ceremony: There will be a very important meeting TODAY during lunch in room 320. The sponsor sheets for November 11 will be handed out during this meeting. All students going on this trip must participate on November 11. If you are unable to attend please see Mrs. Brady.
Grade 7-12 Enrichment Group: Students who are interested in joining a group of students who attend the National Arts Centre theatre and dance series, please see Mrs. Brady in room 320 for more information. Students wanting to explore English, drama, creative writing or dance should consider this extension activity.
Grade 12 students: Any graduating student that did not attend the Gr. 12 information presentations on Tuesday or Wednesday this week is asked to see his/her guidance counselor. Copies of the Ontario College Guide and INFO 71 (Ont. University Information booklet) are also available in Student Services for students who did not pick one up at the meetings.
H.S. Math Contest Info: Attention all students interested in participating in the Canadian Math League competition. The first contest date is Oct. 24, 2006. Students must sign up by Oct. 5, 2006 to be able to participate. Please see your semester 1 math teacher to register or Mr. Cop in 302 if you do not have math in semester 1.
