SCHOOL START-UP: Classes resume on Tuesday, September 2, 2008 for all students in Grades 7 to 12. Students must report to their homeroom by 8:55 a.m.on that day. Homeroom lists will be posted in the Atrium, showing the names of the students in each homeroom and the room location. When students go to their homerooms, they will be given their schedules, their agenda books and their lockers. (Be sure to bring your combination lock on the first day).
NEW STUDENT WELCOME DAY: Students in Gr. 7 to 12 who have not previously attended Mother Teresa H.S. are invited to our Welcome Day on Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at 10:00A.M. Students will meet the administration and the guidance counselors and be given a tour of the school. Grade 7 students will be able to go on the tour with their homeroom classmates and see where the classes are located. The orientation will take approximately 75 minutes.
NEW SCHOOL BUS TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY: The transportation departments of the Ottawa Catholic School Board and the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board have amalgamated into the Ottawa Student Transportation Authority which will oversee bus transportation for students in both boards. They have a new website - www.ottawaschoolbus.ca
Students and parents can go to this website to view and download bus schedules for the individual schools for the coming school year. Contact information is also posted on the website if you need to contact them.
