NOTICE FOR GR. 7 & 8: Grade 7 and 8 students receiving Hep B and HPV vaccines are reminded that the immunization clinic will take place on Thursday, September 20. Students should make sure that they eat a good breakfast that morning, and they may want to pack an extra snack for later in the day.
7/8/ GIRLS VOLLEYBALL: All 7-8 girls are invited to try out for the Volleyball team. Tryouts will be held next week. Listen to the announcement for the exact date and time.
7/8 JUNIOR BAND MEMBERS: The first rehearsal for trumpet, trombone and percussion players is Thursday after school.
LIBRARY NOTICE: The Library will be closed during senior lunch TODAY.
YOUTH MINISTRY: Would you like to get involved with Youth Ministry? Come to a meeting at the beginning of senior lunch TODAY in the Chapel. All are welcome. Hope to see you there!
PEER HELPERS: All High School students interested in being a Peer Helper this year are reminded to please return their forms to Mr. Hallarn by TODAY. There will be a brief meeting at the start of lunch TODAY in Room 326.
CAPPIE CREW: The Cappie crew is looking for theatre enthusiastis, as well as, aspiring writers and journalists to come and be part of our Mother Teresa Cappie Critics. An information session will take place at lunch TODAY in room 300.
LIVE IT UP: Another year of exciting activities begins! New & returning members of Live It Up are invited to our first meeting on Wednesday, September 19 at lunch (11:45 am) in room 209. We will be planning activities for the Terry Fox Run next week.
TERRY FOX WALK: Titans, get out and fundraise for the Terry Fox walk! Pledge forms and money are due Wednesday, September 26th and the actual Terry Fox walk is Friday, September 28th. Come on Mama T - fundraise, fundraise, fundraise! Extra pledge forms are available in Student Services.
COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS OPPORTUNITY: St. Patrick's Harvest Dinner is this coming Sunday, September 23. 4 volunteers are required between 4 pm – 6 pm and 4 volunteers are required between 6 pm-8 pm. Please contact Nora Burnett for details at 613-825-2049.
HIGH SCHOOL CROSS-COUNTRY RUNNING: Practices on Wednesday at 3:15 pm and Thursday at 7:15 am. Note: All members of the team must have completed at least 10 practices before the Board Meet in October.
NOTICE TO GRADS: Carleton University will be coming to Mother Teresa H.S. on Wednesday, Sept. 19 at 10:20, in the Library. Grads who are interested in going to Carleton University in Sept. 2008 should attend this session. Valuable information on programs and admission requirements will be given out. Due to space limitations, this event is only open to Gr. 12 students. Ottawa University will be here on Tuesday, Sept. 25 at 9:05.
